What Makes This Product Different
Every piece of merch in the Know Your Enemy store starts with a moment from the show. We don't just slap a logo on a tee and call it a day. Each design pulls from a specific episode, a particular take, or a fan-favorite quote that defined our community. The result? Merch that actually carries the conversation forward - whether you're wearing it to a live show or just walking down the street.
Take the Know Your Enemy Classic T-Shirt for example. It’s the foundation of our lineup, but the real magic is in the prints. We’ve released over a dozen variants so far, each tied to a specific episode. Below are the five episodes that inspired our most iconic designs.
1. “The Simulation Theory Deep Dive” (Season 2, Ep 14)
This episode broke our comment section. Seth and Mia went back and forth for two hours on simulation theory, consciousness, and whether we’re living in a giant Minecraft server. The discussion spawned the “Glitch in the Matrix” design - a distorted Know Your Enemy logo with pixelation and error bars. It’s printed on the Classic T-Shirt and has become our best-selling variant.
2. “Conspiracy Bingo” (Season 3, Ep 8)
A live episode where the crew played a custom bingo game based on wild listener-sent conspiracy theories. The winning theory - “Birds Are Government Drones” - got turned into a limited-edition graphic for the Know Your Enemy Premium Hoodie. The hoodie features a bird silhouette with a tiny antenna on its back. Subtle enough to wear to class, nerdy enough to make you smile.
3. “The Fall of the Roman Empire (But Make It TikTok)” (Season 4, Ep 2)
This episode was a one-off historical deep dive with a modern twist. The crew compared the collapse of Rome to the rise and fall of TikTok trends. The line “You either die a Republic or live long enough to see yourself become a Dance Challenge” became an instant meme. We printed it on the Know Your Enemy Polo Shirt in a vintage college-font style. It’s our most ironic item.
4. “Psychic Friends Network” (Season 5, Ep 7)
When the show brought on a self-proclaimed psychic for a skeptical interview, the result was pure gold. The psychic claimed she could “read the energy” of our merch, and we leaned into the joke. The “Ghost in the Threads” design - a minimalist ghost woven into the fabric pattern - ended up on the Know Your Enemy Tank Top. It’s also available as a subtle print on the Classic T-Shirt.
5. “The Great Debate: Pineapple on Pizza” (Season 1, Ep 3)
Our very first viral episode. The team spent 45 minutes arguing about pineapple on pizza, and the audience voted 60/40 in favor. We commemorated the chaos with a yellow-and-green striped design featuring a pineapple wearing sunglasses. It’s an exclusive print on the Classic T-Shirt and still one of our top requests at live events.
Design Story
Every design starts with a sketch session between our artist, Jen, and the Know Your Enemy team. We pull the raw audio from the episode, find the moment that sparked the most energy, and translate that into a visual. The “Glitch in the Matrix” design, for instance, came from Mia’s offhand comment, “My brain just blue-screened.” Jen took that literally.
We also involve the community. Before finalizing a design, we post three mockups on our Instagram story and let fans vote. The pineapple-on-pizza design was originally going to be a pepperoni slice, but the audience demanded the pineapple. We listened.
Materials and Quality
The core of every design is the Know Your Enemy Classic T-Shirt. It’s made from 100% ring-spun cotton (pre-shrunk, so no surprises after the first wash) with a relaxed unisex fit. We chose this blank because it holds screen prints well without fading or cracking, even after dozens of washes. The same goes for our other items: the Premium Hoodie uses a 350 GSM fleece that’s dense but not stiff, and the Polo Shirt is a 60/40 cotton-poly blend that resists wrinkles.
Sizing and Fit
Our Classic T-Shirt runs slightly oversized. If you want a relaxed fit, go with your normal size. For a more tailored look, size down. The unisex cut works across body types - fans have told us it’s the most comfortable tee in their drawer. The Premium Hoodie fits a bit roomier (perfect for layering), while the Polo and Tank Top are true to size. You can find detailed measurements on each product page.
How to Style It
The beauty of these episode-inspired designs is that they look good with almost anything. Pair the “Simulation” Classic T-Shirt with jeans and high-tops for a casual day out. The Polo works well under a denim jacket for a smart-casual vibe. And the “Psychic” Tank Top is perfect for summer, especially if you layer it over a long-sleeve tee.
We’ve seen fans wear their Know Your Enemy merch to live shows, to meetups, and even to job interviews (with a blazer over the polo, somehow). The key is confidence - these aren’t random shirts; they’re conversation starters. If you catch someone wearing the pineapple tee, you already know they share a sense of humor.
FAQ
Are the episode-specific designs permanent or limited edition? Most episode-inspired prints are limited runs. Once they sell out, we rarely reprint them. The Classic T-Shirt itself is a permanent staple, but the graphics rotate based on new episodes and fan demand.
Can I buy the Classic T-Shirt without a graphic? Yes. The plain Know Your Enemy logo tee is always available. It’s the same 100% ring-spun cotton, just with the standard branding.
Do you restock sold-out designs? Sometimes, if an episode gets a surge of new listeners. We announce restocks on our social channels. Otherwise, you can check explore the full collection to see what’s currently in stock.
What size should I get if I’m between sizes? For the Classic T-Shirt, size up if you like a looser fit. For the Premium Hoodie, stick with your normal size - it’s already generous.
Where do you ship? We ship worldwide. Standard delivery takes 5 - 10 business days within the US, and 10 - 20 internationally.
